Getting a free plug from Netflix is a big deal for starting a social media campaign. Sometimes it’s all about seizing the opportunity and coming back bigger. Although Eggo’s lost its thunder way back, the social media team did a good job bringing the brand back into action.

Remember when the digital marketing strategy of KFC became ‘a secret ingredient’ and we used to sit and whack our heads thinking what the secret ingredient could be. Well, it’s no more a secret. Just recently KFC did a weird thing on Twitter and started following 6 guys named ‘Herb’. Also, they started following the original Spice Girls. People started to notice this and started to find a crack of what could it be. One guy then discovered that KFC uses 6 herbs and 5 spices to make its products and there was no secret ingredient.
