TEAFLOOR

Teafloor is the D2C retail arm of Budwhite Teas Pvt. Ltd., a premium single-origin tea brand built on garden-direct sourcing from Assam, Darjeeling, and the Nilgiris. With a range of over 60 blends spanning herbal tisanes, white teas, green teas, and functional wellness blends, Teafloor had strong product depth and a credible sourcing story. What it lacked was a visual language to match.

The brand aspires to the level of Vahdam, Sancha Tea, and Organic India in the premium D2C tea category. At the time of engagement, 90% of revenue came from B2B wholesale through its sister brand Budwhite, with D2C contributing only 10%. The target was to shift that to a 70/30 split within twelve months.

Teafloor's existing product imagery was flat, generic, and far below the benchmark of the brands it was competing against. Social media content had no campaign strategy or visual cohesion behind it. Packaging across the range was inconsistent and did not communicate the premium sourcing story that the products themselves could justify.

The ask was specific: build a visual content library that could carry the brand into premium D2C retail. That meant editorial-grade product photography without studio costs, video content that could run across social and performance channels, and packaging concepts that could anchor a redesign across the range.

AI product photography and video

We produced a full library of editorial-grade product visuals using AI-assisted photography, removing the cost and lead time of a traditional studio shoot entirely. Each image was built to function across multiple surfaces: D2C website hero sections, Amazon listing images, social media posts, and paid ad creatives.

Alongside the stills, we produced short-form video content for key SKUs. The Blue Tea Relax video demonstrated how a product story can be communicated through motion, combining the visual of the product with ingredient narratives (Butterfly Pea Flower, calming botanicals) and a clean wellness-led tone. Content was produced to be platform-ready for Reels and Meta ads without further post-production.

Three ad creative formats were developed as social and performance assets, each built around a product benefit and a direct call to action, styled for immediate deployment on Meta and Amazon.

Packaging redesign concepts

We developed four packaging concepts across the Teafloor range, each demonstrating how a different visual direction could be applied consistently across SKUs.

  • Chalo Urja (floral tin): A botanically illustrated cylindrical tin with warm terracotta tones, Mughal-garden detailing, and a grounded premium feel suited to gifting and the wellness segment.
  • Green+ ImuneG+ (box): A clean grid-based box design using bold typography and ingredient iconography, communicating the functional benefit of each blend at a glance.
  • Chalo Urja (ceramic-style tin): A premium cylindrical tin with a hand-illustrated heritage aesthetic, Darjeeling garden motifs, and clear ingredient callouts for a direct-to-consumer audience.
  • Blue Tea Relax (graphic tin): A rich jewel-toned tin with a contemporary tile pattern, leading with the product name and ritual associations, built for shelf standout and gifting.

Each concept was designed to reflect the sourcing credibility of the product, move away from generic tea packaging conventions, and hold visual consistency across a range of formats and SKUs.

The content library that the TSL team created was even better than the actual production shots. The packaging was very refreshing and looked like genuine heart and soul was put into the concept and the final execution.
