Super Hero Composition

You must be wondering how do we even correlate Social Media with Superheroes? This is just a fun way of us explaining how is Social Media not so different from Superheroes.

You must have watched “The Boys” on Amazon Prime, right? No worries if you haven’t! There are no spoilers ahead. The series is all about how the media portrays the merrier side of the Superheroes whilst cleverly overshadowing their evil deeds. The series primarily focuses on how media can impact any person or brand overall and how affect its relations with the audience.

Here, we are not talking about the Superheroes from that series but, we are talking about what lessons you can take from any other Superhero to impact your brand on Social Media.

  • Be Responsible

With great power comes great responsibilities. Cliche, but that is how you will feel on Social Media once you start gaining an audience. Just like Superheroes have the power to defeat villains, A brand or an individual on a Social Media platform has the power to not only talk about themselves but also impact their audience with what they post.

  • Be Innovative

Superheroes are always coming up with new and innovative ways to fight crime. They know that they need to be creative with their content in order to stand out from the rest. Similarly, you will have a lot of competitors to stand out from. So, you must channel all your creativity every time you put something on Social Media.

  • Be Interactive

Superheroes know that they need to engage with their audience in order to build a connection with them. They are always looking for ways to interact with their fans and followers. The more you engage with your audience the more you retain them. Although, here’s a pro tip. Only engage with your audience when they engage with your content. Don’t boot polish them unnecessarily or they will stop interacting with you (or block you in the worst-case scenario).

  • Be Consistent

Superheroes know that they need to be consistent in order to build trust with their audience. Although, being consistent doesn’t mean you show up every single day. Doing so will not only bore your audience but when it comes to Social Media, you might also get listed in the spam section.

  • Be Flexible

Superheroes are very flexible. They are always able to adapt to any situation. Similarly, you need to be able to adapt to any changes in the social media landscape. If any trend comes up, join it. If there is a new update, exploit it. Social Media keeps updating arbitrarily and you need to learn how to put up with it.
